How Pory sets it up
Pory gives every member, group leader and pastoral team a sign-in of their own. Each member sees only their own members. It covers members, groups and events. Members, care requests, serving schedule, events, from the church office and who to contact live in Pory's own database, so there's no spreadsheet to keep in sync.
What it does
Members put names to faces, with each person's small group beside them
New members spent months learning names, and the printed directory was always a few house moves out of date. In Pory signed-in members browse a directory with each person's photo and small group, from Young families to the choir. The welcome team stops photocopying a list that changes every month.

Group leaders see their own group's members, and only theirs
Leaders kept their group list on their phone, while the office kept a different one, and neither agreed after a busy September. In Pory a leader signs in and sees the members of their own group, with the date each one joined and a phone number, and nobody else's. The Tuesday list and the office list stop contradicting each other.

The Sunday bulletin did its best, but anything past the weekend lived in the pastor's calendar. In Pory the office puts services, group nights and community events on a calendar members can open any day of the week, each with its time and place. Fewer people turn up at the fellowship hall on the wrong Thursday.

Members ask for meals, visits or prayer without an awkward phone call
Care needs reached the pastoral team by chance: a word after the service, a message to whoever happened to answer. In Pory a member files a care request with what's needed and by when, then sees when it's in progress. Requests go to the pastoral team only, not around the whole prayer chain.

Frequently asked questions
A member signs in with a link sent to their email and lands on Home. They see Home, Directory, Calendar, My care requests and My schedule, and only the members that are theirs. From there they can use “New care request”.
Only members and the pastoral team. It's hidden from group leaders: it doesn't appear on their pages or in the records they open.
You invite them. Each person gets a sign-in link by email, with no password to set, and lands in the role you chose for them.
