Why we don’t charge per user

Most software in this category bills you per user, per applicant, or per seat, so the better you do, the more you pay. We think that’s backwards.

You bring the people; the price stays put. We’ve priced this way since 2020, and we’re not about to develop a personality change.

And the same goes for our AI. Other tools sell you credits, tokens, and “runs”: a meter bolted to the feature you bought them for. Pory’s AI is part of the plan, priced per portal like everything else. It doesn’t stop working because it’s the 29th of the month.

Pricing questions

The short version: unlimited users on every paid plan, and no credits. Here’s the rest.

Pory has a free plan. Paid plans start at $49/month (billed annually) for one portal with unlimited users, and go up to $119/month for unlimited portals. The price stays the same however many people sign in.

Yes. The free plan includes one portal with up to 5 users and core templates, which is enough to try Pory with a few real people. It carries a Powered by Pory badge; your own domain, colors and logo come with Pro.

No. Every paid plan includes unlimited users, so a portal with 4,000 users costs the same as one with 40.

No. The AI that generates and edits your portal is included in every paid plan under fair use, with no per-message or per-run charges. The AI is part of the product, not a coin slot on the side of it.

A portal is one branded front door with its own users, data and workflows. That's usually one client base, one team or one organization. If you run several, Enterprise gives you unlimited portals.

Your portal keeps working: records, history and your data stay live, so the next busy stretch starts where the last one ended instead of from scratch. If your program runs in seasons, annual billing is the cheaper way to keep it open between them.

Yes. Paying annually gives you two months of Pro free: $49/month instead of $59 month to month. Enterprise is $119/month either way.

Spreadsheets, yes: import a CSV into a table, up to 5,000 rows at a time. Airtable bases can't be imported yet, so you describe the portal, Pory builds its tables, roles and pages, and you bring rows in from a CSV. Portals on Pory for Airtable keep running at airtable.pory.io.

Yes. Each portal can try Pro free for 7 days without a card. When the trial ends, Pro pauses until you add a payment method, and you're not charged unless you do.
