What is a grantee reporting portal?
A grantee reporting portal is where grantees file milestone reports with receipts and evidence attached, get reminded before each report is due, and see the status of their disbursements, while the grants team ticks off every report as it lands. It follows the Tracking pattern: a person's or asset's history, built up over time. Pory generates it from a plain-English description, with a login for each role (grantee and grants manager) that shows only what that role should see, and flat pricing with unlimited grantees.

Milestone reports used to arrive as Word files of every length, and the receipts came separately, if at all. In Pory a grantee names the milestone, picks the reporting period, writes what happened and attaches the evidence to the same report. The grants manager stops stitching emails and scans together the night before a board meeting.

Knowing who owed a report meant cross-checking grant agreements against a spreadsheet of due dates. Every report each grantee owes sits on one checklist with its due date, and the grants manager ticks it off the day it's filed. Anything still open past its date is plain to see, and nobody rebuilds the list each quarter.

Grantees see which tranche is released and which waits on a report
Grantees used to email finance to ask when the next tranche was coming, and finance forwarded it to the grants team. Each grantee signs in and sees only their own disbursements, each with its expected date and where it stands: awaiting report, report accepted, released or on hold. The grants team stops being a relay between grantees and finance.

Receipts and photos travel with the report they prove
Evidence used to be a zip file of scanned receipts named IMG_4471 to IMG_4520. In Pory a grantee attaches receipts, photos and attendance sheets to the milestone report itself, and they stay with it. When the board asks what a tranche paid for, the answer is on the report, not in someone's downloads folder.

Grantees get a reminder before each report falls due
Late reports used to be discovered when a disbursement was already held up. Each deadline carries a due date, and the grantee gets a reminder in their portal inbox and by email before it arrives, naming the report and the date. The grants manager stops sending polite "just a nudge" emails to thirty grantees.
