How Pory sets it up
Pory gives every client and photographer a sign-in of their own. Each client sees only their own photos. It covers client galleries, selects and delivery. Photos, deliveries, shoots, requests, payments and studio team live in Pory's own database, so there's no spreadsheet to keep in sync.
What it does
Clients browse their own shoot as a private gallery
Proofs usually go out as a folder of 600 thumbnails named DSC_4471, sent to whoever made the booking. Each client signs in to a gallery of their own shoot, every photo a card with its name and their pick. They can scroll it on the couch, on their phone, as often as they like.

Clients mark favorites so the photographer knows what to edit
Picking favorites used to mean an email listing file numbers, "4471, 4480 and the one where Dad's laughing", that the photographer cross-checked by hand. Clients mark each photo Favorite, Maybe or Not for me in a list, and the photographer filters to the favorites. Editing starts from a clear list instead of a decoded email.

The photographer delivers final files to each client's page
Final files go out on a USB drive in the mail or through a transfer service, and six months later the client asks for them again. The photographer uploads the finished edits to a delivery for the client, marked editing, ready or delivered. The files stay where the client can find them when they finally get around to ordering prints.

Each client sees their own shoot and nobody else's wedding
One shared proofing folder and one wrong link, and a bride is looking at a stranger's newborn shoot. Each client signs in to their own photos and deliveries, and the photographer sees every shoot from the same portal. Sending a gallery never means hoping a link doesn't get forwarded to the wrong person.
