A navigation header enables your users to navigate to different pages of your app. This guide will cover how to create navigation links as well as sub navigation links.
Creating a navigation link
- Hover over the header section in the editor
- Click on the Edit Header button.

- Switch to the Main Navigation tab
- Click on the Add Link button

- Give your navigation link a title and select the page it links to.

You can also link to an external website by typing out the url

- Save and publish app
Creating a sub navigation link
Creating a sub navigation link will group your links into a dropdown menu. Under the parent navigation link:
- Click on the Add Sublink button from the inner links section

- Give the sub navigation link a name and select the page it should link to

- Save and publish app
Styling the Navigation Header
Update the layout, background, links and dropdown styles by:
- Switch to the Styles tab from Edit Header

Adding a Logo
- Click on the App Settings dropdown menu

- Select Branding

- Upload a logo
- Click on Update Settings
Adding an Action Button
To add a button into the navigation header:
- Click on Edit Header
- Select the type of button to display
- Fill in the details

- Save and publish app
Authentication Buttons
Authentication buttons such Sign Up and Log In will appear in your navigation header once user accounts is enabled in your app.
Enabling User Accounts
To enable and set up user accounts:
- Go to Users
- Follow the onboarding wizard to connect your users table
Updating the button text
- Click on Edit Header

- Switch to Main Navigation
- Update text for Log In and Sign Up buttons
Hiding buttons
- Follow the steps above
- Toggle the Hide Buttons option
