Job Board Template

This template helps you create a job board like Indeed. Below is how the Airtable fields are mapped and displayed in the site.

Field descriptions

FieldDescription
TitleThis is used to display the job title in the template. It is used as the title text on the main page as well as inside the modal
SubtitleThis is displayed directly below the title text. It is used to display the company advertising the job
Subtitle URL (optional)This creates a link to a website. It is used to link to the company's website
Call To Action URLThis is used for the button inside the modal for a call to action like _Apply now_
ImageThis contains the company logo
DescriptionThis displays a paragraph inside the modal. We use this field to display the job description
Filter 1 & 2This determines what the record will be filtered using. The filter options that populate the tags/fields are added in the Filters table




How to add a record to the Job Template

In this example, we will be adding a new job listing for L. Corp located in National City. We will be adding National City to the Filters 1 list of options so users can filter by that location.

  1. In the Airtable site-content table, click on a blank row and click the + button

  2. Firstly, we will enter all the relevant information into the text fields

  3. Next, upload the logo in the Image column by clicking on the field and clicking the + button

  4. In the image upload modal, drag and drop the image file you wish to use and click Upload. Alternatively, you can drag and drop the image file directly onto the row

  5. Now, lets add National City to the Locations filter. Head to the Filters table in Airtable

  6. Select the Filters 1 record and click the +

  7. Enter National City and click Create a new option named National City

  8. Add the value in the record that was created in the site-content table by scrolling to the Filters 1 column

  9. Select the field and click the + button. Type National City in the search field and click Create a new option named National City

  10. Refresh your site and you will be able to see the newly created record
